Art is Everywhere...in a film
I love it when I see some abstract art in a movie or on a tv sit com. I always wonder who the artist is and how they got their art on a show. It is possible that non-artists don't even notice it. Often, I will point it out to fellow show watchers and they never seemed to have noticed it, unless they also are an artist or art student. I'm sure art academia would notice as well, although I have never watched a sit-com with any of them. I work in an art theatre so I have never mentioned this to anyone there as most of them have performed themselves or been film makers and they do notice much more about a film, than I, Many of them are looking more at the technical issues, the cgi, the anime, the editing, or the overall story and how it is played out vs a book or another film.
